Forget what you know! He's just a man whose circumstances went beyond his control. The story add-ons have been pretty great, Alec said in his Resident Evil 7 DLC review, so more of it sounds grand. End of Zoe will let us discover what happens to Zoe Baker, and Capcom say say we "will face off against new enemies and explore new swamp filled areas." It's coming on December 12th, free for all Resident Evil 7 players.Īlso launching on December 12th are a Gold Edition of RE7 including the DLC season pass, and the third big piece of paid DLC. Who they are and what they're up to is a bit of a mystery for now, given the convoluted history of the dastardly corporation, but presumably this free campaign will explain more. The end of Resident Evil 7 showed Chrissy baby palling about with some sort of Umbrella Corporation, who Capcom say is named New Umbrella. Resident Evil 7 biohazard - Not a Hero RE7 Not a Hero - Files Location Guide Below is a list of all collectible Files in the 'Not a Hero' DLC listed with location details and pics of each file. After fleeing from the sporemonsters for so long, maybe it'll be cathartic to blast their faces off with military-grade weapons. Given Ethan's struggles and improvised armaments in RE7, this is pretty strange to see. Oh yes, of course his beefy punches can still explode heads. Capcom also recently revealed a little about the third big RE7 paid story DLC, End of Zoe. RE7's free DLC mini-campaign Not A Hero will bring back Chris Redfield, we've known for ages, and watching a new gameplay vid I am surprised by quite how much of a bang-bang it all looks. But if you have missed burly blokes who work for shadowy organisations and murder their way through monsters with gay abandon, hold on another three months. So finally trying to please everyone with their own little things is a great thing going forward.Įspecially since once again, it shows the RE universe as a whole is very supportive of a lot of different styles and flavors. After years of escalating ludicrousness and ultraviolence, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was a refreshing change of pace with its creepy spookhouse and hapless hero. Capcom seems to know their fans taste now are broad. These DLCs have me very happy with the future of the RE universe. Especially if sat RE2make is another more serious affair and we have to wait for more action until So Action fans getting two bite sized DLCs seems fair. If we wanna make it these fans versus those fans. Though to be fair I can't really blame them. The basically take that and do a 180 on it. With that said I can see why fans of RE7/horror would be rather disappointed in these DLCs. But it's well worth playing as a free DLC and a far better closer to the game than what was there at launch. Aside from that it's nice seeing more regular tropes of RE back in "Secret Corps, Labs, some melee, etc). It feels like a natural progression of RE7 to a established hero character. That is the one more people are going to enjoy. Not a Hero (Which we all thought would be more actiony) is the more grounded of the two funny enough. He basically encapsulates the action player finally being set free in the RE7 universe. Joe has already elevated to top favorite characters. The sheer ridiculousness of End of Zoe is so great. Thought of pleasing its fanbase all around "Oh you didn't like the main campaign? Here these are for you" basically is how both of these DLCs are. Ethan will get captured, and you'll play as Mia until. That DLC is the perfect love letter to action fans and basically cemented capcoms Ending 1 - If you choose to give the Serum to Mia, Ethan will leave Zoe behind while Mia and Ethan take the boat out towards the Wrecked Ship. The entire time I played End of Zoe I had a smile on my face. There is still room for the more action and cheese some of us liked from RE4-6. Mainly since they provide that even in a more grounded game like RE7 itself. Both of these DLCs really have me looking forward to the future of the series again.
